Find out what the package actually includes
A welcome package may be split across several deposits. Separate the first-deposit amount from the total advertised package, and check whether free spins, cashback or later stages have different terms.
The ordinary cashier minimum is not necessarily the deposit needed to qualify. Choose a spending amount first, then see whether the promotion fits it. You do not need to increase a deposit to make an advertised package look worthwhile.
Know what the wagering multiple applies to
If a €20 bonus has a 35× bonus-only requirement, the illustrative play-through amount is €700. If the same multiple applies to a €20 deposit plus that €20 bonus, the amount is €1,400. The difference is the basis, not the headline multiple.
This calculation is not a forecast of winnings, losses or time needed. Game contribution can change how much play counts, and other restrictions can determine whether a withdrawal is permitted.
Check the payment and play conditions
A casino can accept a wallet deposit while excluding that wallet from a promotion. Read the qualifying-payment clause before you transfer funds. Look for the maximum bet, eligible games, expiry, any maximum withdrawal and the rules for cancelling the offer.
If a term is unclear, ask the casino to identify the clause that applies. Keep its written response. Do not assume that conditions at another casino, or on an earlier offer, carry across.
Compare the offer with making no claim
Check whether you can make an ordinary deposit without accepting the bonus. That can be a useful alternative when you do not want the wagering requirement or time limit.
Use the homepage calculator to compare the stated wagering basis. Then return to the exact terms: a clean number on a calculator cannot capture game restrictions, payment eligibility or every account condition.
